PocketVault launches with a simple pricing principle: the tools you need to track and understand your money are free. Premium is for people who want the app to look forward, not just record the past — and it funds an app that can’t (and won’t) sell your data.
What’s free
Every PocketVault user gets the full everyday app at no cost:
- Full tracking — budgets, goals, investments, loans, bills, net worth
- On-device AI chat and natural-language queries over your real finances
- AI auto-categorization and semantic search
- Multi-currency — record in USD or INR and read one consolidated net worth
- Custom categories, tags & transfers
- Budget rollover and bill reminders
- Savings goals with pacing
- Import — bank SMS, PDF statements, paste, and manual entry
- SQLCipher encryption, biometric lock, and encrypted backup & restore
Import (bank SMS, PDF, paste, and manual) is free. P2P sync, shared expenses, and CSV/receipt import are on the way — and they’ll be free when they land.
Why free
These features are core to what PocketVault promises. Gating multi-currency behind a paywall while positioning ourselves as the app for NRIs wouldn’t sit right. Gating encrypted backup while saying “your data, your control” would be contradictory. So we don’t.
Because PocketVault runs on your device, we don’t pay for cloud servers or a bank-linking service, and we have nothing to sell — no data, no ads. That’s why the everyday app can be free.
What Premium is for
Premium is forward-looking foresight — where your money is headed and what to do next. These features roll out after launch; found the app now and they unlock at your locked-in price:
