Agreement

By downloading, installing, or using PocketVault Finance ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the App. It's that simple.

What PocketVault Finance is

PocketVault Finance is a personal finance tracking application that runs locally on your device. It is not a financial advisor, bank, payment processor, or investment platform. The App helps you track and analyze your own financial data; all decisions remain yours.

License

PocketVault Finance grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on your personal devices. The Free tier is available at no cost, indefinitely. Premium features are available via a recurring subscription managed through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

  • Free: Use forever with full features including financial tracking, on-device AI, multi-currency, import (bank SMS, PDF, CSV, manual), custom categories, budget rollover, bill reminders, encryption, and encrypted backup & restore. No payment required.
  • Premium: $48/year or $4.99/month in the US (or the price shown in your local store). Recurring charge detection, subscription review, the loan payoff planner, Where this is heading projections, and the cash flow statement. Spending forecasts with anomaly alerts, and cross-device sync between your phone and the web app, are in development and are included when they ship. Active as long as subscription is maintained.
  • Premium Lifetime: $129 one-time in the US (or the price shown in your local store). The same Premium capabilities listed above, for the supported life of the App, with nothing to renew. It is not a higher tier and unlocks nothing additional.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

All purchases are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store, and refunds are governed by that store's policy rather than ours. We cannot issue, extend, or decline a refund on their behalf. Where a store notifies us that a purchase was refunded or revoked, the corresponding access ends.

Your data

You own your data. Fully. We can't access it, and we don't want to. Since all data is stored locally on your device:

  • You are responsible for backing up your data.
  • If you uninstall the App or lose your device, your data may be lost unless you've exported it.
  • We cannot recover your data for you, by design.

Cancellation and refund policy

You can cancel your Premium subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you retain access to Premium features through the end of your current billing period, after which you revert to the Free tier. Your data always remains on your device regardless of subscription status.

Refund requests are handled by the respective app store. For Google Play, visit Google Play refund support. For Apple App Store, visit Apple refund support. For billing questions not addressed by the stores, contact us at support@pocketvault.finance.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
  • Use the App for illegal financial activities.
  • Redistribute or resell the App.
  • Remove or modify any proprietary notices.

Disclaimer of warranties

PocketVault Finance is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do our best to ensure accuracy, but we don't guarantee that financial calculations, AI categorizations, or exchange rates are perfectly accurate. Always verify important financial decisions independently.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PocketVault Finance and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the App. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
