v2.2.0

Guided tours, account archiving, and a lot of sharper edges

Everything between 1.0.1 and 2.2.0 in one place. The theme is depth: the features that already existed got explanations, guardrails, and the edges they were missing.

Learn a feature where you use it

Guided tours now run on the settings hub, statistics, net worth, subscriptions, tags, investments, loans, savings, retirement, money replay and future self. Each one is a live tour over your own screen rather than a video or a help article, and it adapts to what your region and your device actually support, so it never points at something you cannot use.

Account archiving

Closed an account? Archive it. It disappears from your active lists and your net worth, and every transaction that referenced it stays intact and readable.

A nudge, if you want one

An optional daily reminder to log expenses. Off unless you turn it on, and it respects the quiet hours you set in notification settings.

Import says what it can do

The import hub now lists every source with its real status, including the ones that are unavailable and the specific reason: your region, your platform, or a bank whose statement parser has not been validated yet. No more guessing why a tile is missing.

Sharper edges throughout

  • Budget alerts surface on the dashboard when a category is running hot
  • Forms warn before you navigate away from unsaved changes, and gained a proper close button
  • Budget and shared-expense inputs trim stray whitespace and validate a maximum amount
  • The loan wizard validates a payoff plan before it lets you save one
  • Account lists and recent transactions load noticeably faster on large ledgers
  • Navigation routes were reorganised, so deep links and back behaviour are more predictable

On-device AI

The chat handles date ranges properly, including named months, keeps its figures precise when summarising, and is clearer about what it is proposing before you approve a write. Model download, storage management and error reporting all got more honest about what went wrong.
